Amazon Featured Offer missing and what to review
Understand Featured Offer eligibility and review price, availability, fulfilment and seller performance before changing your offer.
By Ecomtik Editorial Team ·
The Featured Offer is the offer highlighted for purchase on an Amazon product page. Sellers often call it the Buy Box. Having an active listing does not mean your offer will be selected. Amazon's guide distinguishes eligibility from the competitive factors considered for selection.1
Start by checking the affected ASIN, marketplace, variation and delivery location. A screenshot without those details can send you towards the wrong diagnosis.
Confirm that the offer is available
Check the seller account for offer status and any associated notifications. Confirm that the correct SKU has available stock and can be delivered to the destination being tested. A warehouse quantity is not necessarily the same as inventory available for customers to purchase.
For Fulfilment by Amazon, or FBA, inspect the relevant stock statuses. Amazon's FBA programme handles specified fulfilment activities, but the programme description is not a promise that every inbound unit is immediately available.2
Compare the complete customer offer
Review the total delivered price, delivery expectation, product condition and customer service performance alongside the status information in your account. These are relevant considerations in Amazon's Featured Offer guidance.1 Keep a record of when the comparison was made because offers can change.
Do not respond by automatically becoming the cheapest seller. First calculate the lowest price your business can support. A product that sells more units below its contribution threshold can create a larger cash problem.
Build a short diagnosis record
Create columns for observation time, marketplace, ASIN, seller SKU, availability, delivered price, delivery estimate and relevant account notice. Add a final column for the action taken. This is an operating recommendation, not an Amazon-required format.
Imagine a seller reducing price while the product remains unavailable to the customer's location. The discount does not address the availability issue. Another seller may have stock and a competitive price but an unresolved performance notification. The account evidence should determine the next step in each case.
Test changes within a margin limit
Where a price change is appropriate, record the original price, the reason for the test and the minimum acceptable contribution. Inspect the result over a comparable period and watch total contribution as well as offer visibility. Avoid changing price, fulfilment and advertising simultaneously unless an urgent operational issue requires it.
Keep account and catalogue notices in the same review. If you need support, send a precise description of the inconsistency rather than asking only why you have no Buy Box. Amazon controls eligibility and selection; no agency can promise permanent ownership of the placement.
For coordinated offer, catalogue and advertising work, review Ecomtik's Amazon account management. If paid traffic is reaching the page but orders remain weak, use the clicks without sales checklist.
